How a gown is made

Six stages, each one photographed.

The full process
  1. 01

    In Chicago or on Zoom

    Consultation and timeline

A detailed consultation to go over your wedding plans, styling needs, and every important detail. We’ll map out exact deadlines, appointments, fittings, and decisions so you know what needs to happen and when.

  2. 02

    With your curator

    Sketch and swatches

A sketch you keep, and fabric and lace swatches shown to you online and over email, photographed in daylight and close up.

  3. 03

    With your curator

    Design sign-off and deposit

Finalize and sign off on all design details, secure your gown’s production date, and receive an estimated ship date. A 50% deposit of the gown total is required to secure your order and production date.

  4. 04

    Ho Chi Minh City

    Pattern and first cut

Drafted to your measurements after your coordinator reviews every one with the pattern maker.

  5. 05

    Ho Chi Minh City

    Approval photographs

Nothing ships until you have approved the finished gown from every angle.

  6. 06

    Your city

    Home for fittings

Tracked door to door. Fittings and alterations, if needed, are in the comfort of your city with your own seamstress.

Your own materials

Your grandmother's lace can travel with us.

Many of our brides bring something. A veil, a bolt of silk from a trip, lace from a mother's gown. Tell us when you can hand it over and we build the drop-off into your plan, photograph and log every piece, and confirm it in Saigon with pictures the day it arrives.

  • Logged and photographed at drop-off
  • Insured, tracked courier
  • Confirmed on arrival with photos
  • Offcuts returned with your gown

Never wonder where your stuff is

A tracking number for everything.
An AirTag in every gown box.

Your lace going to Saigon, your gown coming home: every parcel has a carrier tracking number on your page. Your gown also travels with an AirTag, and we share its location with you, so you can open the map and see where it is. Your coordinator checks on every parcel daily and you are told at every step.

  • Tracked

Carrier and tracking number for every parcel, both directions, on Your Style.

  • On the map

An AirTag inside the gown box. We share its location with you the day it ships.

  • Told daily

Your coordinator checks in every day and writes a plain note. Every step emails you.

Begin

Tell us your date. We will tell you the plan.

Five minutes, one question at a time. You leave with a dated plan for your gown and a curator ready to call.
